Daily maintenance is incredibly simple: wipe the surface with a soft microfiber cloth dampened with warm water or a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Avoid all harsh or acidic chemical sprays, including vinegar, Windex, and bleach, as they eat away at the protective sealant. Every Kozy Nest table arrives professionally sealed to repel moisture, but we always recommend using a coaster under your evening water glass or morning coffee cup to completely prevent water rings.

Calacatta Viola is a dense, high-quality solid marble, making these bedside tables quite heavy. This substantial weight gives the furniture an incredibly stable, grand feel, meaning it won’t shift or tip if bumped in the dark. They are perfectly safe for all standard residential floors, including carpets, floorboards, and tiles. To ensure protection during setup, we highly recommend attaching heavy-duty felt padding underneath the base so it glides smoothly on hardwood floors without scratching.

Calacatta Viola is a robust marble, but like all natural stones, it is porous and sensitive to acids and heavy chemicals. Skincare serums containing vitamin C, AHA/BHA acids, heavy essential oils, and alcohol-based perfumes can etch or discolor the polished surface if spilled and left to sit. To keep your table looking pristine, we strongly recommend placing a decorative ceramic, leather, or acrylic valet tray on top of the table to safely house your cosmetics, night creams, and jewelry.
